El Dorado Hills Shopping Center Hit By Thieves Again – CBS Sacramento


EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13) — Authorities are searching for a suspect who burglarized an El Dorado Hills restaurant on Wednesday.

Surveillance footage at Taqueria El Dorado on Park Drive captured the suspect breaking into the restaurant and then a back-office inside of the business.

Miriam Sanchez works at the local taco shop involved in the latest break in. She said there’s fear among the business that these thieves could strike again.

Two eateries, fitness center set to open at Bluebonnet-Highland shopping center

BATON ROUGE - A fitness center and two beloved eateries featuring dessert menus that would give the average person incentive to check out said fitness center are coming to the popular shopping center at the corner of Bluebonnet and Highland Road.

Stop & Shop offers free reusable bags in N.Y. as single-use ban nears | Supermarket News

To help New York customers eschew single-use plastic shopping bags, Stop & Shop this month will begin providing free reusable bags ahead of a state ban.

Single-use plastic bags are scheduled to be phased out at supermarkets and other retail stores across New York starting March 1. Beginning Feb. 22, Stop & Shop will have information tables at stores to answer questions about the state ban and hand out free reusable bags, plus other giveaway items, to customers who bring in one or more carryout plastic bags for recycling.

Oakridge shopping center buys San Jose site amid mall upgrades

SAN JOSE — The principal owner of Westfield Oakridge shopping center has bought a site next to the south San Jose mall in a deal that could bolster a wide-ranging and dramatic revival and upgrade of the big retail hub.

The transaction represents a swift profit for local developer Don Imwalle, who had bought the site just last August through an affiliate.

In August, the Imwalle affiliate paid $3 million for the property, according to Santa Clara County public documents.

RCPD: $20k shopping spree with stolen credit card under investigation

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) Police in Riley County are searching for the suspect or suspects who used a stolen credit card to go on a $20,000 shopping spree.

According to Riley County Police Department, a man reported Thursday that someone used his financial card to make several purchases.
