Fort Worth reflected in the Trinity River Park, Fort Worth, Texas, United States of America, North America
Visit Fort Worth, the official marketing organization for Fort Worth, debuted a new campaign in the ongoing mission to lure more conventions and tourism.
"Our new ad campaign is really promoting Fort Worth as the 'Modern West,'" said Mitch Whitten, Executive Vice President for Marketing & Strategy at Visit Fort Worth . "You can come here and explore the past but you can also explore the future. You have the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame , but we also have people up in North Fort Worth building flying taxis for the future. So how do you package that up but to say, the 'Modern West',"
Many things are taking place:
Trump campaign turning MAGA rallies into slick, locally targeted TV ads - ABC News
It's part of the re-election team's new strategy to flip the president's sprawling campaign rallies into locally centered TV ads that air days after his road show has left town. The strategy is geared toward further extending the reach and media attention that Trump rallies already generate.
The campaign has produced and run six-figure ad buys after rallies in New Hampshire, Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado -- with plans to roll run another local ad highlighting Trump's North Charleston rally, a senior Trump campaign official told ABC News. The president tweeted out a version of the South Carolina ad but the campaign hasn't announced its placement or a buy yet.
Mike Bloomberg cosplays as president in coronavirus ad - The Verge
Billionaire Mike Bloomberg's presidential campaign purchased primetime ad space Sunday night — reportedly worth at least $1 million — so the former New York City mayor could cosplay as the president of the U.S. He addressed the nation, vaguely, about the threat of coronavirus.
Bloomberg's ad ran around 8:30PM ET on CBS and NBC, during "God Friended Me," a CBS exclusive about an atheist who gets a friend request from God. The ad space could have cost the Bloomberg campaign anywhere from $1.25 to 3 million, The New York Times reported Saturday .
OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma starts ad campaign for claims - WIZM 92.3FM 1410AM
The $23.8 million campaign is part of Purdue's bankruptcy proceedings as it tries to resolve close to 3,000 lawsuits over its role in the opioid crisis.
Notifying people who may have claims against a company is a standard part of a bankruptcy case. But Purdue's efforts —worked out with input from a committee of creditors and other interested parties and approved by a bankruptcy judge in White Plains, New York — are unusually expansive.

Other versions are to appear later in magazines, newspapers, TV and radio, billboards, movie theaters, and other places to let people know they have until the end of June to file claims.
Not to change the topic here:
Bernie Sanders announces February fundraising and 2020 primary ad buys
Bernie Sanders' campaign says it raised $46.5 million in February, a staggering influx that leaves the Vermont senator flush with cash as he tries to build his presidential primary delegate lead.
The Sanders campaign also announced Sunday that it will buy TV ads in nine states that hold primaries later this month. They are Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and Washington.
The February haul, which nearly doubles the still impressive $25 million the campaign raised in January , came as Sanders rode victories or strong showings in the first 2020 Democratic presidential nominating contests to an early national delegate lead. Sanders has trounced his Democratic rivals in contributions from individual donors: $46.5 million is more than all of his non-billionaire rivals combined raised in January.
Ahead of Super Tuesday, TV ad spending tops $9.4 million in Colorado thanks to one big spender
Democratic presidential candidates spent $9.4 million on nearly 32,000 TV ads in Colorado with a handful of contenders targeting the state just as Super Tuesday arrives.
The campaigns of Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg, a super PAC supporting Amy Klobuchar, and even President Donald Trump took to Colorado's TV screens in the last month to influence voters ahead of the primary.
The Democratic candidates delivered messages attacking Trump and talking about their leadership strengths.

Most don't want micro-targeted political ads: Gallup | TheHill
Most Americans say they don't want political campaigns to micro-target them through digital ads, according to a poll released Monday.
Seventy-two percent of those surveyed said internet companies should share no information about its users to political campaigns to target certain voters with digital ads. The view is shared by 69 percent of those who identify as Democrats, 75 percent of Republicans and 72 percent of independents.
Twenty-percent of those polled said that they thought limited information, such as a person's gender, age or zip code, should be allowed to be shared.
