Which is where Huawei Mobile Services comes in. Starting last summer, Huawei embarked upon the mammoth task of creating its own mobile services framework, with the ultimate goal of emerging as the third major mobile platform, alongside Google and Apple. The company certainly has near limitless resources to dedicate to this task, as proven by its actions in recent weeks: wooing developers with a more generous revenue cut, while also building compelling new features into the new Huawei

FBI takes down hacker platform Deer.io – Naked Security

The FBI on Tuesday shut down Deer.io, a Russia-based platform catering to cybercrooks that offered turnkey online storefront design and hosting and a place where they could sell and advertise their wares, including ripped-off credentials, hacked servers, hacking services, gamer accounts and more.

Deer.io was a top market for stolen accounts: a place where crooks could buy and sell credentials for hacked accounts siphoned off of malware-infected computers, PII, and financial and corporate data.

Its internal memo to workers instructed managers to inform any questioning authorities that GameStop views itself as "essential retail."

GameStop has decided to reverse that decision and announced that it will close its retail storefronts, go entirely digital on orders, and will offer curbside pick-up at stores and delivery options.

Why Epic Games Could Usher In More Console Exclusives On PC

Epic Games has struck a deal with three game companies that will add more titles to the developer's own virtual storefront. However, the games from these developers are makers of yet another set of console exclusives in the past decade. Epic Games could be the doorway for many PC players getting their hands on console exclusives on the computer.

The company has secured three game companies, namely genDesign, Playdead and Remedy Entertainment, according to a report from  Gematsu . Both Remedy Entertainment and genDesign has worked on console exclusives in the last decade. These game companies will still keep ownership and full creative freedom of the titles they'll release in the platform.
