AKRON, Ohio – While closed to visitors because of the coronavirus crisis, Akron Zoo this week announced it will begin to offer carryout meals and appointment-based shopping in the zoo's gift shop.
Carryout meals are available on Thursdays from 4-6 p.m. Each entrée is $40 and serves four people. Desserts, beverages and alcoholic drinks are also available for purchase. (WKBT) – Wisconsin Department of Health Services Secretary-designee Andrea Palm signed today Emergency Order #36 , allowing all standalone or strip-mall based retail stores the opportunity to offer in-person shopping for up to five customers at a time while maintaining social distancing.
