Back by popular demand, Downtown Davenport is having another Drive-Thru event, this time to coincide with Father’s Day. Although with businesses opening back up, it will be more of a “scroll and stroll” event.
On Saturday, June 20 from 1pm to 4pm, several Downtown Davenport businesses will offer “scrolling” with online or over-the-phone advance purchases for curbside pick up, or “strolling” with in-store specials, sidewalk sales, or outdoor drinking and dining.

PARSIPPANY — If you were driving in the Arlington Shopping Plaza on Saturday morning, you must have seen all the emergency vehicles blocking off the road leading to Home Depot.
Parsippany Rescue and Recovery requested Parsippany-Troy Hills Volunteer Fire District 5 for help in rescuing ducklings.
Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Department, Parsippany Volunteer Ambulance, Parsippany Emergency Medical Services were also called to the scene.

Charlotte County business owners devise plan for new waterfront shopping center
Recently, two Charlotte County business owners created a plan for a waterfront shopping center. Waterside Park is envisioned to be a place with waterfront shopping, restaurants, hotels and a potential place for watersports operation.
The complex would be in old Florida style and would contain 15,000 square feet of above-first-floor parking. The second floor would include a deck and gazebo area.
Some are excited that the area is in the process of being developed. “It used to be kind of quiet and quaint and now it's kind of a little being built up. But I think it does need a little more "oomph" around here. I think it would be good,” said Dionian.

Local Goodwill locations expanding shopping hours for customers
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Goodwill of Middle Georgia and the CSRA is expanding shopping hours at many of its retail training stores.
Starting Sunday, June 21, select stores will now be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Safety protocols will be observed, including social distancing to protect the health and safety of guests and Goodwill team members.

MARLBOROUGH – A Rte. 20 shopping plaza that houses Chipotle Mexican Grill, Great Clips, Subway and other businesses has a new owner.
RK Centers, a Needham-based real estate development company, announced this week that it has purchased the shopping center at 225-235 Boston Post Road for $8.6 million. The 57,000-square-foot plaza abuts the RK Center, which opened in 1995 and is anchored by a Hannaford supermarket, and is also owned by RK Centers.
