Stanley Marketplace Adds Mochi Doughnuts and a Latin Market - 303 Magazine

After re-opening to the public, Stanley Marketplace — a community-focused marketplace featuring over 50 locally-owned businesses — welcomes two new businesses to its list.

The Stanley Marketplace was closed for 73 days due to COVID-19 and re-opened to the public on May 27. The interior businesses are currently open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday with several new health and safety protocols and plans to expand the current hours of operation.

Car Slams Into Hampton Marketplace In East Hampton - The Independent - The most comprehensive

A car went through the front entrance and into Hampton Marketplace in East Hampton Village on Friday afternoon, injuring two people inside the building, East Hampton Village Police Chief Mike Tracey said.

“The driver, he went squarely through the front door of the building,” and went roughly 25 feet inside, East Hampton Fire Department Chief Gerard Turza Jr. said. He reported finding no structural damage.

When the Fire Department arrived numerous people were already outside of the building, including the driver, patrons, and employees.

Legal Battles Over Maine Residency Rule Ripple Through Cannabis Marketplace | Benzinga

Maine's adult-use marketplace continues to take shape after being approved by voters with a 2016 ballot question. 

The most recent development came June 2, when businesses sued the state to enforce its residency rule, requiring adult-use business license holders to have at least four years of in-state residency.

In March, Wellness of Maine sued the state on the grounds that the residency rule was unconstitutional . The company holds four of the eight licenses in the state.

NBA approves plan to return; no deal in sight for MLB - Marketplace

When can we get sports back safely during the time of the coronavirus? Pro basketball has just come up with and approved a plan. The NBA season will start on the last day of July with billions of dollars at stake.

Nova Safo : They're going to play games in a bubble, essentially, quarantining everyone involved in Florida with regular testing. They'll play all the games at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex at Disney World near Orlando with no fans in attendance. The games will be played for television only and will stretch into October. The league is still figuring out what they'll do if someone tests positive for the coronavirus.
