Going shopping? Here are the major retailers that are requiring customers to wear masks

Amid the rise in COVID-19 cases across the U.S., national retailers have rolled out new policies that will require customers to wear facial coverings while shopping in stores.

Here are some of the major retailers that have implemented facial covering requirements for shoppers:

Grocery store chain Trader Joe’s said in an announcement on its website, all customers would be asked to wear a face covering while shopping. Trader Joe’s also limited store hours for most stores, closing at 8 p.m., except in New York City, which would close at 9, and making the first shopping hour of the day exclusive for seniors and those with disabilities.

Schnucks requiring customers to wear face masks effective July 20

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KWQC) - Schnucks announced it will require customers to wear face masks while shopping in its stores beginning Monday, July 20.

In a news release, Schnucks said the requirement will take place at all 113 of its locations in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Indiana and Wisconsin. The requirement will include exceptions for young children and those with medical conditions who are unable to wear a face mask.

Joel Greenberg stole identities of tax collector customers - Orlando Sentinel

Former Seminole County Tax Collector Joel Greenberg used driver's licenses surrendered to his office by customers to create fake identification cards for himself, according to a newly filed federal indictment.

Greenberg, who resigned and dropped his bid for re-election after an earlier indictment on charges that he stalked a political opponent , now faces four additional charges related to identity theft and the production of false documents, according to an indictment filed Wednesday.
