Grolsch relaunching in UK with new branding and ad campaign

Premium pilsner Grolsch is returning the UK market this Autumn with a new look to match its new brewing location.

Following feedback from UK consumers, the pilsner is back with a lower ABV of 4% and is now made using two types of Dutch malt and a "double-brew" process at his historic home in Enschede, in the Netherlands.

It brings with it a new bottle design, designed to champion its heritage and Dutch provenance, and its recognisable 'swing-top' bottle profile. The relaunch will be supported by a multimillion-pound advertising campaign, focused around the strapline 'Double brewed for double the flavour'. Following a social media launch next month, the campaign will roll out in 2021 with national advertising, point-of-sale materials, staff training and other promotional activity.

Democratic House challenger invokes Ginsburg in new campaign ad

Democrat Betsy Dirksen Londrigan, who is challenging Illinois Republican Rep. Rodney Davis, is launching an ad Friday that invokes the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and ties the Supreme Court fight to her party's broader push on health care.

The race for the 13th District in Central Illinois represents a potential pickup opportunity for Democrats and is a rematch from 2018, when Davis defeated Dirksen Londrigan by 1 point. Recent polling shows a similar close race heading into Election Day, with Davis considered among the House's most vulnerable members . Inside Elections with Nathan L. Gonzales rates the race Tilt Republican .

Dan Crenshaw's New Campaign Ad Is a Whole Thing – Texas Monthly

On Thursday night, Houston Republican Dan Crenshaw shared a new campaign ad, featuring himself and five other GOP congressional candidates in what his YouTube page humbly described as the "greatest joint campaign ad in history." Describing the three-and-a-half-minute spot as an "ad" almost misidentifies it, though. It's not a campaign advertisement in the traditional sense, as those often identify the candidates' policies, or at least describe the policies of their opponents.

No, what Crenshaw and friends have created is … art? A short film, anyway, stylized like an action movie trailer (for a film called Texas Reloaded , which the candidates seem like they would have a lot of fun making), and intended to introduce the team to voters as superheroically as possible. It is whimsical and self-aware and pretty weird, a fun ad in a bleak time. However, given that it presents its characters in the milieu of an action film, it is fair to approach it as such.

Republican Group Launches Ad Campaign Against Donald Trump's Big Election Year Policy

The new digital ad was released on Friday by SGLF, a "dark money" affiliate of the Republican State Leadership Committee, a political action committee that works to elect Republicans to state legislatures and other state-level positions.

Asked to comment on the SGLF ad, White House spokesman Judd Deere told The Daily Beast that the president "is not going to be intimidated out of also delivering lower prices to seniors by this embarrassing attempt to confuse the public." Deere said the administration "has invested billions in the development of therapeutics and vaccines to respond to COVID-19."

New Jersey Marijuana Campaign Launches First Ad As Poll Shows Support For Legalization Referendum

The 30-second spot focuses on law enforcement issues, specifically making the case that cannabis criminalization wastes taxpayer dollars and police resources that could go toward pursuing more serious crimes.

After lawmakers failed to approve a legalization bill, they decided to place the issues before voters as a referendum on the ballot . If it succeeds, the legislature will then have to pass implementing legislation containing details for how the legal cannabis market will work.
