BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A popular pie and coffee vendor at local farmers markets has a new storefront in Patterson Park.
Max Reims opened Pie Time’s shop for the first time Wednesday with a limited menu of pies that sold out without several hours of opening.

For now, Pie Time will only be open on Wednesdays from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3101 E Baltimore Street. They will use their new commercial kitchen to bake pies to sell at the shop and at farmers markets.

London man charged after repeatedly ramming vehicle into east-end storefront | CBC News
London police say the incident happened at around 1 a.m. Wednesday at Sak's Market on Rectory Street, near Hamilton Road.
They said a man had an argument with an employee inside the variety store, returned to his vehicle and then drove the car into the front entrance of the store. He then reversed and drove into the building a second time, according to police. While in the parking lot, a citizen was also struck by the car as the suspect fled.

Magician and illusionist D.J. Edwards has moved Ickle Pickle Magic Products to Park Hills and opened a storefront at 204 East Main Street.

His grandpa then took out a handkerchief and a quarter. He put the quarter under the handkerchief and asked Edwards to hold it over the glass. His grandpa was standing a few feet away. Then he told him to drop the quarter into the water.
"I took away the handkerchief," he explained. "There was no quarter in that glass and he couldn't have touched it. Anyway, that was it."

Vacant storefronts across downtown Evanston shed their brown paper wrappers to become vibrant art galleries through Evanston Made's "Art Under Glass" initiative at the start of October.
Economic Development Manager Paul Zalmezak said he expects the number of vacancies to increase this winter. However, he said he hopes the project might make the empty storefronts more welcoming.
