Could Your Company Be More Customer-Centric?

Sure, having great customer service is important, but it alone does not mean that you are customer-centric. If you are customer-centric then you are probably providing great customer service as a result. But it does not necessarily work the other way around.

When you are fanatical about having tools and strategies and metrics and goals around better understanding and empathizing with your customers in order to increasingly add more value for them — then you can say are a customer-centric company.

Simi Valley Businesses Given Green Light To Call Police On Customers Who Refuse To Wear Face

SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA) — Simi Valley businesses whose customers refuse to wear a face mask can now call the police for help in removing those persons from their property.

Face masks are required by the state in order to comply with business reopening guidelines to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

However, “businesses in Simi Valley who encounter individuals who will not adhere to store policies requiring face coverings may report those individuals for removal by contacting the Simi Valley Police Department,” a statement from city spokeswoman Samantha Argabrite said.

No pushback from customers on signing contact tracing logs | KRQE News 13

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.  (KRQE) – It’s been two weeks since the governor told restaurants and other businesses to keep a log of customers who come into their store for contact tracing purposes. KRQE News 13 spoke with a few of those businesses to see how they’ve handled the change.

“As soon as they said it was required, they made sure our stations were up and ready,” said Boxing Bear Brewery operations manager, Jay Knigge.

Customers at a Whiteside County restaurant may have been exposed to COVID-19 on Halloween

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - On Saturday the Whiteside County Health Department announced that a customer at Hero's Bar and Grill tests positive for COVID-19 after spending Halloween night at the business.

Officials say anyone at Hero's after 10 p.m. on October 31 may have been exposed to  the virus as the person was symptomatic while spending time at Hero's.

Some PlayStation 5 Consoles Have Begun Shipping to Customers

With the launch of the console just a few days away, many PlayStation fans are now anxiously awaiting updates for their PS5 pre-orders . For those that ordered the new console directly through Sony, it's a good time to check on the order status, as it appears that the first batch of PS5 consoles has shipped.

Those hoping to get their consoles earlier, as some Xbox Series X fans have , are out of luck. It appears that Sony has specifically instructed carriers not to deliver the item until November 12, so it's unlikely that the system will show up any earlier than that. Of course, carriers do make mistakes, and it is always possible that it will make its way through the cracks, which would sweeten the deal a little bit.

Wendy's breakfast nabs new customers as pandemic breaks old routines

Wendy's has become the rare restaurant company to lure customers to its restaurants for breakfast even during the coronavirus pandemic .

In the last eight months, consumers broke their old breakfast habits and began eating the early morning meal at home, spurred on by office closures and virtual schooling. The shift in behavior has translated into higher sales for cereal makers General Mills and Kellogg , who had been struggling to revive consumer appetite for the likes of Cheerios and Frosted Flakes before the crisis.

Canada says airlines can have government help when they issue refunds to customers | One Mile at

In positive news for both Canadian airlines decimated by COVID-19, the federal government has announced that it will commence talks this week with the industry about providing federal assistance.

There’s a catch, however, and it’s one many Canadian fliers will be pleased to hear: as part of any support package, airlines will have to provide refunds to customers whose flights were cancelled due to the pandemic.
