Trump administration cancels Covid-19 celebrity ad campaign - POLITICO

The Health and Human Services department has scrapped a planned ad campaign featuring celebrities discussing Covid-19, a senior HHS official told a congressional oversight panel in a letter shared with POLITICO .

The abandoned $15 million contract with Atlas Research, part of a larger $300 million taxpayer-funded campaign aimed at "defeating despair" over the pandemic, was conceived by a close political ally of President Donald Trump this summer. It was met with outrage from Democratic lawmakers, who charged it was an attempt to boost lagging public opinion of Trump's coronavirus response ahead of the election.

All Elite Wrestling ( AEW ) and TNT unveiled the new documentary-style “Boundless” ad campaign on Wednesday.

The campaign was created and directed by Director X (Julien Christian Lutz), the acclaimed music video director known for his work with artists like Drake, Rihanna, Jay Z, and Kanye West.

The video details how AEW built a successful pro wrestling promotion at a time when the WWE has dominated the market for two decades. It also tells the story of how some of the company’s top stars were told they would never be successful, only to go on to substantial success within AEW.

Sony launches genius PS5 ad campaign on London Underground - Dexerto

As part of their PlayStation 5 marketing campaign, Sony have taken over some of London’s most iconic Underground stops and transformed them into PlayStation symbols. 

The PlayStation 5 has been on the cards for a while, and the lead up to launch has certainly been exciting.

Sony have branched out with their marketing this year in an attempt to tap into all different sectors of society. Manitoba elections commission dismisses Tory complaint about union ad campaign - Winnipeg |

Manitoba’s commissioner of elections has dismissed a complaint from the Progressive Conservative party that alleged a union broke the limit on third-party spending during last year’s provincial election.

Bill Bowles said the billboard and bus shelter ads that criticized Premier Brian Pallister cost Unifor $18,843 — well under the $25,000 limit set by the Election Financing Act.

“In coming to his conclusion the investigator was provided, and examined, details of those expenses,” Bowles wrote in a four-page ruling obtained by The Canadian Press on Wednesday. Bowles traditionally does not speak publicly about his reports and turned down a request for comment.
