“Here’s the interesting thing about me: I don’t take no for an answer very well,” Millspaugh said.

Veganuary: Shopping with a vegan
As "Veganuary" comes to an end, many will take the time to decide if they want to continue the vegan diet — but some are worried about the cost.
Veganuary is a 31-day challenge to try the vegan diet for the month of January; it started as a charity in Europe. The vegan diet is a diet void of dairy, egg, meat and any animal by-products.
In my personal experience, the cost of the vegan diet isn't as much as people think, as long as you're not spending your money on vegan "meat" substitutes such as Beyond Meat, Gardein, MorningStar Farms or Impossible Meat. These kind of products can be more expensive and really push up your total grocery bill. They should be seen more as a food to eat in moderation if you're trying to cut costs.
