Amazon, Rakuten, eBay Top List of Most Visited Ecommerce Sites - Retail TouchPoints
Retail ecommerce sales grew 27.6% worldwide in 2020 and global marketplaces ruled the roost, making up nine of the top 10 most visited retail sites last year, according to a report from Fasthosts .
Amazon and Japan's Rakuten were the #1 and #2 most visited retail websites in the world last year, with Amazon domains taking three of the top 10 spots (.com at #1, .de at #3 and .co.uk at #6).
Bespoke furniture maker grows with B2B ecommerce
When high-end custom-made furniture company Uhuru Design saw an opportunity to enter the B2B market, it took it seriously.
The company had found success in the residential market in the early 2000s building bespoke pieces of furniture from repurposed materials they found on the streets of New York City and selling them to high-end customers. Some of their pieces built from reclaimed materials from famous New York City sites, such as Coney Island and Domino Sugar Park, landed in the Smithsonian and the Brooklyn Museum.

Blue-collar workers for the most part are faring better than white-collar workers during the pandemic-induced recession, something of a flip compared to other recent economic downturns, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported Sunday (Feb. 21).
"Job openings in many blue-collar occupations broke above pre-virus levels last summer and remain significantly elevated, figures from the online job site Indeed show," according to the report.
WSJ cited data indicating job growth has been especially strong in housing, warehouse work, driving and manufacturing. A big factor in the growth of blue-collar jobs has been the rise of eCommerce.
