The Newcastle-based online retailer Citizen Maine opened a new storefront in downtown Damariscotta on March 18.
Co-founders Don Bostick and Danny Cain have brought their expert interior design skills to the space at 93 Main St., formerly The Accessories Shop.
"We want to appeal to a wide audience," Cain said. "What we carry will evolve over time as we keep an eye on the latest trends and observe what our customers are drawn to."

CONCORD— A former Walmart employee drove through the Thunder Road storefront Friday morning Concord Police said.
Once officers were on scene, they were able to get Lacy Gentry to stop the vehicle. No one was injured during the incident.
Before the store opened, Concord Police were informed around 6 a.m. that a car had driven through the Walmart near Concord Mills.
Once officers were on scene, they found Gentry driving a 2015 Volkswagen Passat inside of the store causing substantial damage and endangering others. Eventually, officers were able to get Gentry to stop the vehicle and took him into custody.
