NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An attacker followed an Asian-American man down an Upper East Side sidewalk before shoving him into a glass storefront window in broad daylight on Monday, surveillance footage shows.
The man was walking near East 72nd Street and Lexington Avenue on Monday afternoon when the attacker began following him, surveillance footage obtained by ABC7 shows.
The man tried to evade the attacker — going so far as to walk off the sidewalk and into the street — but the attacker continued to trail him before shoving him into a store window, the video shows.

PUYALLUP, Wash. - On Friday, Pierce County will revert to Phase 2 of the state's reopening plan . Local lawmakers did not waste time putting together a plan to support businesses and save jobs.
The Pierce County Council unanimously approved the emergency ordinance late Tuesday evening. Chair Derek Young said the rollback announced Monday was a gut punch as many business owners who emerged from a difficult winter will soon face more challenges thanks to Phase 2 guidelines. Relief will come out of $4 million dollars taken from the county’s general fund.

Firefighters from at least four South Shore departments battled an early-morning fire that raced through a largely vacant, one-story stand-alone storefront on Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst Tuesday, Suffolk County fire officials said.
Suffolk County police said the 911 call reporting the fire was received at 3:14 a.m. Fire officials said firefighters from Lindenhurst, Copiague, West Babylon and North Lindenhurst all responded to the scene just west of South Wellwood Avenue.

(Seems to me like my habitual iced coffee consumption IS actually better for me!).
