Water rates set to increase for PUD customers | Port Townsend Leader

Commissioners for the Jefferson County Public Utility District voted unanimously to increase water rates for residential customers in a move that will raise rates 55 percent over the course of the …

PUD officials said the rate increases will help pay for required capital improvement, allowing for the water utility to become a financially sustainable utility.

“We have to have clean water. We have to have reliable water. So we have to have a sustainable budget and sustainable rates,” said Board Secretary Jeff Randall during the   PUD Board of Commissioners meeting April 20.

BH Power proposes new tariff for renewable energy customers | Local News | bhpioneer.com

SPEARFISH — Black Hills Power customers who have renewable energy systems would pay for 100 percent of their energy consumption, even that which they produce themselves, and be reimbursed at a much lower rate for solar and wind energy production under a proposed "buy all, sell all" tariff.

Black Hills Power Inc., doing business as Black Hills Energy, presented its proposed Cogeneration and Small Power Production Service Tariff, also known as the QF Service Tariff, March 19 to the Public Utilities Commission for approval. The proposed tariff applies to Black Hills Power customers who are able to generate 1 megawatt or less of their own electricity through solar or other renewable energy systems.

Ivory Paper founder knows she's let customers down with order delays

Like many entrepreneurs, Alitzah Stinson started her company, Ivory Paper Co., out of frustration over a particular problem: finding a planner that met her needs as a busy CEO and influencer.

Now, it's some of her customers who have become frustrated with her for what they say is her failure to deliver on the customized planner and other products they have bought from the Columbus company,
