Multiple partisan groups are pouring millions of dollars into West Virginia in a bid to pressure conservative Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin over key pieces of his own party's agenda.
The TV ad blitz from both sides of the aisle launched as early as last month and has continued into June, according to data provided to CNBC by ad analytics company Medium Buying . Two of the groups are virtually unknown and have quietly been trying to make an impact in West Virginia in recent weeks.

The Happy Turtle Ad Campaign side quest is also a call-back to the original game - referencing a bar in Yuffie's home country of Wutai and a similar quest in the original game which was known as the Turtle's Paradise side quest.

The ad is running on social media sites, some websites, and streaming services like YouTube. It’s unusual to start an ad campaign so soon, but Tshibaka still has name recognition hurdles to clear, while Murkowski is a household name in Alaska. The ad buy also shows that Tshibaka is confident of her fund-raising ability.

Grubhub thanks restaurants in new ad campaign
Grubhub is delivering a love letter to restaurants in a campaign showcasing what diners have embraced and elements they’ve missed during the coronavirus pandemic as they’ve ordered from home.
One ad called "We Serve Restaurants” is a voiceover letter to restaurants, with wording such as “thank you from the bottom of our stomachs” and mentions of moments of joy, “like the rogue onion ring that ends up in our fries.”
'Thank You North Face': Oil firm trolls clothing company with ad campaign
An oil and gas company has hit out at apparent hypocrisy from clothing firm The North Face with a targeted PR campaign.
Liberty Oilfield Services, based in the US, has launched the "Thank You North Face" website and social media campaign against the firm.
It comes after The North Face, which relies on fossil fuels to produce many of its synthetic clothing products, refused to sell specially branded jackets to oil firm Innovex Downhole Solutions last year.

An ad campaign from advocacy groups is targeting Facebook workers, urging them to keep former President Donald Trump banned from the platform permanently.
"You would be handing him the megaphone through which he incited an insurrection — all without implementing meaningful design or enforcement changes to prevent the worst from happening again," the letter states.
The ad is part of a six-figure ad campaign launched by Media Matters and Accountable Tech that also includes digital ads, as well as billboard and truck banners near Facebook’s corporate offices, The Hill reported.
