Cryptocurrency Invades Sport Marketplace With Latest NASCAR Deal - Ministry of Sport

T
he emerging trend of cryptocurrency storming into the sports industry has been bolstered by NASCAR driver, Landon Cassill, signing a new partnership deal with cryptocurrency trading platform, Voyager Digital.

The deal is historic for the American race series as it makes Cassill the first driver to be paid fully in cryptocurrency.

NFT Marketplace Rarible Raises US$14.2m | Digital Payments | FinTech Magazine

Even house flippers are being priced out of the market - Marketplace

You might think record-high housing prices would be good news for home flippers trying to make a quick buck dressing up a fixer upper. In fact, it’s just the opposite.

A new report from real estate company ATTOM Data Solutions found home flipping activity in the first quarter of 2021 fell to its lowest level in 20 years. Only 2.7% of all home sales were flips, down from 7.5% in the first quarter of 2020. A big drop even with the pandemic taken into account.

Ruby Lane Marketplace Launches New Fee Plan - EcommerceBytes

Ruby Lane is changing its fee structure next month, although existing sellers can choose to stay on the current plan. The new plan offers lower upfront costs, but takes a higher fee when a merchant makes a sale (9.9% versus the current 6.7%).

Presumably the current fee structure is more palatable to high-volume sellers on Ruby Lane since they pay higher monthly fees but a lower commission (“service fee”).
