Customers stacking up on fireworks as the Fourth of July approaches

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Sales at firework stands are sky rocketing this weekend as we near the Fourth of July. Stand volunteers in Hastings said they're seeing more and more people come in to stack up on the colorful explosions everyday.

Customers are buying anything from small to large fireworks — some even planning to put on their own firework displays at home.

Center Point Water customers under boil order until Thursday | MyWabashValley.com

CENTER POINT, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– Center Point Water customers are under a boil order after a water main leak was discovered Saturday morning.

Crews began repairing around 4 p.m. and water was restored around 6:30 p.m. All Center Point Water customers are under a boil order until Thursday.

Kaseya Cyberattack: End Customers Ransomed, MSPs Spared

The ransomware gang who attacked Kaseya locked down systems and demanded ransom payments from end user organizations while passing over MSPs and Kaseya itself, said Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola.

Voccola told CRN the ransomware attacker sought money only from end customers rather than the approximately 50 MSPs who had been compromised through an on-premises version of Kaseya’s VSA remote monitoring and management tool.

NV Energy warns customers to be aware of possible July 4th scams

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Since Memorial Day, NV Energy says it has seen an uptick in utility scams and warns its residential and business customers to expect scam activity to increase during the July 4 weekend.

A scammer will call a customer and falsely identify themselves as an employee of NV Energy then make deceptive threats about their electric service and demand immediate payment, often via MoneyPak card or Zelle. The number also may falsely represent itself as NV Energy.
