SF Bay Area restaurants are still struggling. Returning customers don't see that.

Since California's June 15 reopening of the economy, some restaurant owners are finding customers to be extra difficult.

Payments company Paystone raises $23.8M to help service-based businesses engage with customers

Paystone , a payments and integrated software company, secured another strategic investment this year, this time $23.8 million ($30 million CAD) from Crédit Mutuel Equity, the private equity arm of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale.

The Canada-based company got its start in 2008 as the payment processing company Zomaron, and rebranded itself as Paystone in 2019.
