Back-to-school shopping is different amid COVID with supply shortages

Parents, take note. Getting your children ready for the new school year is expected to cost more this year. And getting all the items on the school supply list may be harder.

While many started last school year remotely, more students are heading to physical classrooms – meaning they'll need backpacks, lunchboxes and new clothes.

Shipping group Maersk continues shopping spree after strong earnings | Reuters

It bought Visible Supply Chain Management and B2C Europe, both specialised in e-commerce, for a combined enterprise value of $924 million, Maersk said.

Canton rail trail is on track for extension to town's major shopping center - Hartford Courant

The state is planning to spend almost $600,000 to extend the Farmington River Trail eastward from Route 177 to the Shops at Farmington Valley, a prospect that Canton officials say will help the economy of the entire town.

The shopping center and the town haven't worked out details of exactly where the new trail section will go, but both support the state Bond Commission's decision late last month to pay for the work.

Amazon: India court rules in favour of online shopping giant - BBC News

India's Supreme Court has ruled in favour of Amazon in a decision that could shape the growth of e-commerce in India for years to come.
