Alliant Energy providing $4M to help customers pay energy bills

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) -- A $4 million donation by Alliant Energy to its Hometown Care Energy Fund is going to help customers pay their energy bills.

Customers who need financial assistance are encouraged to use the funds to avoid falling behind on their bills. Of the $4 million, $2 million is available to customers in Iowa and $2 million is available to customers in Wisconsin.

4,000 Jackson customers under precautionary boil water notice

JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV) – Leaders with the City of Jackson announced on Thursday that a precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for 4,000 customers due to the loss in water pressure.

Customers are advised to boil their drinking water until adequate pressure is restored to the system. Water should be brought to a rolling boil for one minute before drinking or cooking with it.

Survey: 10% of customers plan to upgrade to iPhone 13 - 9to5Mac

Less than a week away from Apple unveiling the rumored iPhone 13 , a survey shows that customers are not that excited to upgrade to a new iPhone this year.

According to a survey conducted by Savings with more than 1,500 iPhone users, only 10% of customers plan to buy the iPhone 13, while nearly two-thirds (64%) of those surveyed said they have no plan to upgrade. More than a quarter (26%) were undecided.
