A pair of vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident, which occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on Sunday, according to Sachmechi.
One of the vehicles, which was driven by an elderly woman, came in contact with the other vehicle, causing it to crash into the storefront of DeFranco Spagnolo salon on 156 Middle Neck Road in Great Neck Estates, he said.

At least two people were injured, one seriously, when a car came crashing through the storefront of an Omaha Goodwill.
Crews on the scene worked to remove the shattered glass left behind from the impact. Goodwill plans to board up the damage and reopen to the public Tuesday.
