Driver crashes into storefront at Apex shopping center :: WRAL.com

Apex, N.C. — A driver crashed into a front entrance of a business at an Apex shopping center on Thursday.

The vehicle went into the front entrance of an H&R Block, going through front of business, shattering the glass and framework. The crash happened along Kelly Road, where a Publix grocery store anchors the shopping center.

Epic Games Finally Releases Achievements for their Storefront

Epic Games has announced an initial rollout launch of their achievement systems – nearly three years after the original release of their platform.

So far, only a few popular games will have achievements: "Rocket League, Hades, Pillars of Eternity, Kena, Zombie Army 4, Alan Wake Remastered, and a few other games." In addition, more games will be added this year as Epic rolls out the tool to more developers.

Exhibits feature changing palette of multimedia artists

AKRON, Ohio — The city of Akron seems to never have a shortage of art on display, often in surprising places.

Through Dec. 8, visitors walking the hallways of the Summit County Courthouse will be exposed to "Faces and Feelings," an apt exhibit during a pandemic when people must view one another from afar, said probate court Community Outreach Specialist Lisa Mansfield in a release.

Topeka Yoga Network opening studio downtown, offering 5 classes a day

A Topeka yoga business that has operated as a mobile service for years is setting up shop in downtown Topeka.

Mother-daughter duo Mary Boland and Evelyn Spangler, who together own Topeka Yoga Network, are opening a brick-and-mortar location this year in the 900 block of S. Kansas Avenue, bringing a yoga studio to the capital city's downtown corridor.

Petoskey artist to open mobile art trailer, store

PETOSKEY — A desire for a more functional and portable vending store has led one Petoskey artist to build a new one slated to open next week.

Christy Williams — a Petoskey local, digital artist and owner of Lil Will's Inspirations — has spent the last few weeks renovating and setting up a trailer that will act as her semi-permanent storefront at home and a portable one she can take to the many events she vends at year-round.
