QCA business owner opens new location in time for Small Business Saturday

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Just in time for "Small Business Saturday", Sweet Tooth Snacks has opened another storefront, this time on Elmore Avenue Davenport.

The owners opened their first snack shop in Rock Island back in 2018. They say the new store wouldn't have become a reality without the support of the community.

Lanza Atelier fills exhibition with furniture that visitors can take home

Architecture studio Lanza Atelier has lined an art exhibition in New York with plywood tables and stools in varying sizes, which can be disassembled , flat-packed and distributed among visitors at the end of the show.

The design for the Re-Source exhibition encompasses 56 pieces of furniture that are lined up to fill the triangular floorplan of the Storefront for Art and Architecture gallery in SoHo.

Entourage Beauty Bar reopens at Marketplace Mall

Entourage Beauty Bar had to move out of Marketplace Mall when it closed during the state's COVID-19 shutdown, but now it's back and bigger than before.

City's plan to address downtown storefront and office vacancy could take more than a year -


Vacant storefronts and offices are both a symptom and a contributor to the current struggles in London's core area business districts.


In July, city council directed staff to develop a strategy to assist in reducing building and land vacancy in Downtown London and the Old East Village.

Continue to shop small with more than 50 creatives at local art gallery | WANE 15
