The Stable Acquires a Walmart Analytics Agency | Twin Cities Business

The Stable, a commerce agency known for helping brands like Ring launch online and in major retailers including Target and Walmart, has acquired The Retail Firm, an Arkansas-based agency that provides data analytics, sales support and supply chain services to Walmart brands.

Data analytics students place second at iLink Digital Hackathon | Penn State University

The hackathon took place virtually over three days, from Sept. 3 to 5. Prior to beginning their work, the students reached out to Raghu Sangwan , associate professor of software engineering and director of the campus' Big Data Lab , for guidance.

At that point, the students were new not only to hackathons, but also to Great Valley — the event took place after their second week of classes. Sangwan guided the students on what to expect from the hackathon, how to approach it, and what outcome would be expected.

HawkEye 360 raises $145M to scale space-based radio frequency data and analytics –

The biggest players in the Earth observation industry use imaging satellites to deliver intelligence and analytics, but startup HawkEye 360 is taking a different tack.

Investors agree, to the tune of $145 million in new funding as part of HawkEye's Series D round. The round was led by Insight Partners and Seraphim Space Investment Trust, with additional funding from United Arab Emirates-based Strategic Development Fund.

Microsoft Desktop Analytics Has One Year Left -- Redmond Channel Partner

Microsoft will phase out its Desktop Analytics solution on Nov. 30, 2022, when it will incorporate the product's capabilities into the Microsoft Endpoint Manager Admin Center portal.

Desktop Analytics is used to assess the compatibility of Windows endpoints. Some of its capabilities associated with Windows 11 readiness assessments have already been moved into the Endpoint Analytics solution, which gets accessed through the Microsoft Endpoint Manager solution.
