The platform is a digital gift card marketplace, created by Giftbar, featuring almost 30 Goleta businesses.
According to a news release, the platform is designed to be a gift that keeps on giving to local Goleta businesses, which will boost local spending and help them recover from the economic dent that was created by the pandemic.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Last year at this time, the Small Business Marketplace provided spaces for pop-up vendors to sell their holiday goods, but it was primarily done outside in the cold.
This year, however, with help from Iowa’s West Coast Initiative and Ho-Chunk, vendors were able to set up in a shared space at the old Aalfs Manufacturing building on Historic Fourth Street.

Saturday at Flag Store Sign and Banner more than a dozen local vendors came to sell their goods for the holidays.
"It's a great way for vendors who don't have a specific storefront to have a place where they can come in, get (customers) to know them, and taste what they have to offer," said Eric Smith, who is the Flag Store's vice president.
