Duke Energy: Nearly 5k customers still without power in Cincinnati area
Duke Energy is reporting thousands of customers still without power as forecasters predict wind gusts reaching up to 30 mph Saturday night
There are a total 4,807 customers without power in Southwest Ohio, with most of those concentrated in Clermont and Hamilton counties, according to the company. Only 49 customers in Northern Kentucky are without power.
Power restored to 84,000 customers; 66,000 remain in the dark
"We are looking forward to favorable weather today to continue to restore power for residents and businesses," says Melissa Gleespen with Consumer's Energy. "We have also added crews to our system from Mutual Assistance that will enable us to have a successful day of restoration."
