Duke Energy: Nearly 5k customers still without power in Cincinnati area

Duke Energy is reporting thousands of customers still without power as forecasters predict wind gusts reaching up to 30 mph Saturday night

There are a total 4,807 customers without power in Southwest Ohio, with most of those concentrated in Clermont and Hamilton counties, according to the company. Only 49 customers in Northern Kentucky are without power.

Power restored to 84,000 customers; 66,000 remain in the dark

Wegmans, Tops to require customers, employees to wear masks in stores beginning Monday | NEWS10

ROCHESTER, N.Y. ( WROC ) — Gov. Kathy Hochul announced a new mask mandate for New York state Friday and businesses are already preparing for the change.

The governor said due to rising COVID-19 rates statewide , masks will be required to be worn in all indoor public places unless businesses or venues implement a vaccine requirement.

Very Merry Meijer surprises customers with $1,000 gift cards

GRAND RAPIDS — Hundreds of Meijer customers and team members across the Midwest were surprised with more than $500,000 in holiday shopping sprees on Saturday, Dec. 4.

The giveaways were part of the store's Very Merry Meijer tradition. Each location gave a $1,000 gift card to a single in-person shopper, plus $100 coupons to five pickup customers. Three team members in each store were also given $200 gift cards to "thank them for their efforts this holiday
