Prepayment energy customers feeling the strain - BBC News

Pay-as-you-go customers are already going without gas and electricity in greater numbers ahead of big price rises, an energy supply boss has said.

Bill Bullen, chief executive of Utilita, said twice the usual number of prepayment meter customers were "self-disconnecting" when accounts ran dry.

Republic asks customers who were missed to report it – Shaw Local

Republic Services is asking any customers who were missed on Friday, if it was their regularly-scheduled day for waste/recycling pickup, to call and report it to its customer service line.

Services resumed Friday in Ottawa with a collection window from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., including service to the recently-acquired River City customers.

Frustration grows as MLGW customers wait for power to be restored

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Tuesday marks the sixth day of no power for tens of thousands of Memphis Lights, Gas and Water (MLGW) customers.

On Berkshire Avenue off Graggland Circle, there's a transformer blocking the road. Residents in the area have to drive on a neighbor's front yard to get through.

Bank of America customers made $335 billion in payments in January | Reuters

Credit and debit card spending was up 16% to $65 billion, with credit card spending up 28%, the bank said.
