Flint, MI—This week, 100K Ideas and the city of Flint launched an online storefront for Flint's small businesses.
Brandee Cooke, executive director of 100K Ideas, said the new e-commerce platform grew out of conversations with the city's Department of Economic Development, as both entities had heard a similar concern from small businesses owners.

OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio -- City Council recently approved the 2022-2023 Storefront Renovation Rebate Program , which incentivizes business owners to enhance their brick-and-mortar structures. Approved projects include a 50 percent rebate from the city.

Less than a year after opening their "Mexican ghost kitchen" filling delivery orders through smartphone apps and building a catering clientele, Taco Hero owners Roger Diaz and Jorge Cuadra, will soon debut a bricks-and-mortar business in Brookfield.
Diaz told the Landmark in a phone interview last week that he and Cuadra hoped to open the doors to Taco Hero, 8420 Brookfield Ave., in April. The dining room will be open for eat-in and carryout service. The menu is still being finalized.
