Scammers targeting OMU customers - The Owensboro Times

Over the past two days, Owensboro Municipal Utilities customers have been targeted by scam calls and texts. OMU officials said scammers have contacted numerous utility customers "aggressively" demanding payment and threatening disconnection of services.

Verizon Wireless Customers Reported Outages Across US - CNET

Verizon wireless customers across the US reported they were unable to make or receive phone calls Wednesday afternoon.

"The issue was identified and resolved by Verizon engineers and the majority of impacted customers should be seeing service as usual," said Verizon spokesperson Karen Schulz on Wednesday evening. Schulz added that customers experiencing lingering problems should restart their device.

Okta says two customers breached during January security incident - The Record by Recorded Future

Okta this week concluded its investigation into a headline-grabbing security incident that came to light in March, finding that two of its customers were breached through its customer support partner Sitel.

The access management company initially said 366 customers were affected by the incident, which took place between January 16 and January 21. Okta landed on the 366 figure because those were Okta customers whose tenants were accessed by any Sitel customer support engineer within that time frame.
