WEST SPRINGFIELD – Karol Hernandez developed her line of healthy soaps because of her own health condition, and started her own business to share her soaps free of toxins, chemical and artificial ingredients.
After completing research, she started making her own soap with natural ingredients. At first, she just made soap for her family, but then it “snowballed” and friends and neighbors were interested in it as well.

OED will accept applications from small businesses on a continued basis until all funding has been spent. Businesses can apply up to two times if they experience more than one incident of vandalism to their storefront.
