With declining enrollment despite pricey ad campaign, University of Maryland Global Campus cuts 43 ...

University of Maryland Global Campus, one of the largest online higher education institutions in the country, is getting criticized for sudden layoffs and how it treats its workforce.

The school recently eliminated 43 positions, according to a letter from school president Gregory Fowler.

Ad Campaign Launches in Flushing, Queens to Break the Stigma of Poverty

An unprecedented advertising campaign launched across Flushing, Queens today aiming to break long-standing stigmas surrounding poverty. The campaign, called "Poverty. It's Not What You Think," was created by F.Y.

The program began in September 2019, Robin Hood awarded planning grants to nine anchor partners to develop poverty solutions that are both data-driven and heart-led, including the Flushing-based organizations.

The First Coast dodged a bullet and local tourism boards want the rest of the country to know about it.

There is also a local tourism push specific to Jacksonville, Visit Jacksonville has its largest advertising budget in its organization's history and will restart its ad campaign by targeting other cities in the Southeast and East Coast.

Liz Truss has blocked a £15 million energy-saving public campaign which had been signed off by Business Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg.

The measure would have included newspaper and television ads asking people to take measures like turning off radiators in empty rooms.

Food and drink businesses fronting new export ad campaign | News | British Baker

Free-from snacks and baking mixes supplier Creative Nature is among businesses featuring in a new government export drive.

Forty-five businesses, including 12 from the food and drink industry, are appearing in nationwide radio and billboard ads for the Department for International Trade (DIT) Made in the UK, Sold to the World campaign.
