Palo Alto Networks CEO: Cost-cutting customers are coming to us in tough economy

Palo Alto Networks is seeing tailwinds from customers looking to slash costs in the worsening economy, CEO Nikesh Arora said Thursday.

"The silver lining in the current environment is that we're having more consolidation conversations —because suddenly, the number one priority in addition to being secure is: 'Can you help me do that without me increasing costs?'" he told Jim Cramer.

Central Hudson begins billing former Columbia, Icon customers

Central Hudson says about 25,000 homeowners and businesses that have not received a bill for electricity service in the past three or four months will finally begin receiving those bills again in the coming week, if their billing has not resumed already.

Complaints from customers had surfaced recently after they were hit with high bills from Central Hudson, which serves more than 300,000 customers in the Hudson Valley, including in Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Sullivan and Putnam counties.

Blue State Coffee on Thayer serves final customers, closes its doors - The Brown Daily Herald

On Monday, staff and customers learned that Blue State Coffee on Thayer Street would permanently close later in the week. Four days later, on Nov. 17, the shop served its final cup of coffee.

Alongside its Providence outpost, the cafe's two other remaining locations in New Haven and Hartford also closed Thursday, marking a permanent end for the chain. Last month, three of Blue State's New Haven locations closed, the Yale Daily News reported .

Austin Water Saves Customers $98.1 million in 2022 | AustinTexas.gov

Austin Water secured a combined $50.9 million in funding through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, and the State Water Implementation Fund for Texas.

Austin Water has also completed a major debt refunding transaction that saves customers $36.9 million in financing costs.
