Downtown Vacancies the Focus of Second Round of Storefront Grants — City of Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE – Today, the Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency (MRA) is launching its second round of the Downtown Storefront Activation Grant Program.

Businesses or nonprofits that occupy and rehabilitate ground-floor commercial space within the designated Downtown Albuquerque boundary may apply. $50,000 to $250,000 grants will be awarded based on eligibility criteria and the square footage of the leased commercial space.

1909 Storefront for Sale on NE Glisan – Montavilla News

The corner commercial property at 7341 NE Glisan Street is for sale. Since 1909, this 1,728-square-foot single-story structure has housed many grocery stores. Although changing hands often, the shop continued to sell food for 40 years.

When constructed, the storefront had an address of 1877 East Glisan. An early proprietor of the property was J.S. Yeast, according to the  Oregonian  of December 29th, 1918.

Vice Donuts Is Parking Its Truck, Opening Storefront In Massapequa | Massapequa, NY Patch

MASSAPEQUA, NY — After years of serving hot, fresh donuts and coffee, Gina and Joe O'Brien are parking the Vice Donuts truck and opening a storefront in Massapequa.

The new Vice Donuts and Coffee will be located at 917 N Broadway in Massapequa, at the site of a former donut shop. There's not set date yet for when the store will open, but Gina O'Brien said they're aiming to get it open this winter.
