Chinese lambast hair removal ad campaign comparing hairy women with orangutans - Trending News

The company in question defended the ad campaign by saying that Orangutan's depiction alongside humans was inspired by the mascot of Singapore Tourism. 

In one advertisement, a disinterested Orangutan stands beside a door, while a hairless woman poses confidently on the other side while sporting a dress identical to the Orangutan.
