WESTFIELD — Vacant storefronts on Elm Street and Main Street are the target of an economic development program from the state and the city of Westfield.
Under the Vacant Storefront Program, the Massachusetts Economic Assistance Coordinating Council will authorize $10,000 in state tax credits for businesses looking to fill certain properties in the district, according to Westfield Community Development Director Peter Miller.
