Recipients of the 2025 Russell County Economic Development and CVB Storefront/Signage Grant (SFSG) Program have been announced.

Applications were reviewed and scored on criteria such as project scope, appearance and/or structural impact, and need.

This program offers matching grant funds towards projects that include the development or improvement of business or attraction storefronts and signage, and was designed to help create or enhance the promotion and physical appearance of Russell County and its businesses/attractions.

The SFSG Program is funded by the half-cent sales tax for economic development and capital improvements and organized by Russell County Economic Development and CVB.

This year's award amounts totaled $12,500 and will help support a proposed total project investment of $59,960 in our communities.
