Before its recent move to 909 N. Kansas Ave., the nonprofit organization occupied a small space in the back of the YWCA.
Fizell, executive director of ArtsConnect, said that space didn't allow the organization to fully utilize its capabilities.
Now, with a much larger space, ArtsConnect can fully immerse itself in the arts scene and have a place to call home during First Friday Art Walks, which ArtsConnect created.
"We didn't really choose NOTO, but we had the offer of the building and it worked out," Fizell said. "It's just a good fit. I think the district just has a lot of really cool stuff going on, and we are excited to be a part of it."

Local potter opens Hillbippie Clay storefront
COSHOCTON - Opening a new storefront in Roscoe Village was an emotional homecoming for Rachel Hall of Hillbippie Clay.
Hall started the pottery business in 2016 in a studio in her basement and mostly sold her wares online and at some local outlets. She recently opened a storefront in the former Toll House in Roscoe Village.
Hall said the building was vacant for about a year, but it previously housed a video on the restoration of the recreation of a canal era town on the first floor and a toy museum curated by Richard Hoover in the basement. The museum recently moved a few buildings down to the Hay Craft and Learning Center.
