Green and Gold Threads Opens Storefront – The Express
Several students in the Applied Business Development class have been working to open a clothing company within the school in order to provide trendy and affordable fan apparel for the community. Senior Logan Lynn has been working on making Green and Gold Threads a reality for nearly a year.
"We first talked about the idea the first semester of last year, and by the second half of the school year, we had a team assembled. The team consisted of [senior] Clarissa Kiefer, [junior] Angelina Barnett, and myself. With the time we were given we created a name, a logo and released our first shirt," said Lynn.

Residents have been blasting Facebook with both support and disapproval of the cannabis business opening. Many business owners say they don't want it, while other residents say it's a good thing.
"I know it will provide a lot of jobs and obviously contribute to a tax base," said Orcutt resident Donna Polizzi.
But The Santa Barbara County Planning and Development Department wants to be clear. The storefront's application is still under review.

Both have cut deals to buy or lease some of Lucky's' vacating locations in announcements made Monday, regarding Aldi, and then Monday night involving Publix.
"We are under contract to purchase five Lucky's leases with locations in Clermont, Naples, Neptune Beach, Orlando and Ormond Beach," Publix Director of Communications Maria Brous told In the Know Monday night. "We are currently in the due diligence process."
