The European Union has issued new rules for contactless payments, which has caused confusion and forced one digital bank to issue new cards, according to a report in the Telegraph .
The move could potentially affect 57 billion euros ($62.4 billion) in revenue to businesses throughout Europe.
The Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) regulations say a bank has to verify a person's identity whenever they make a payment that totals 100 euros ($109.45). If a customer goes over that limit on several card payments, then they'll have to enter a pin.

Customers who go to Dunkin' for the plant-based Beyond Sausage sandwich spend nearly twice the average ticket, according to the coffee retailer.
The Beyond Meat Inc. BYND +4.07% item was added to Dunkin' Brand Group Inc. DNKN +0.57% locations nationwide in November . Dunkin' said the launch was successful and says it has had "sustained performance" since.

A woman answered saying Styer had reached the customer service line at JEA. She said her name was Katie Perez and provided her ID number. She then said Styer was three months behind on payments.
Styer says he pays through the automated payment system. Perez's response was that they were having problems with that. Things escalated quickly from there.
Wisconsin Rapids watermain break may affect nearby customers
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAW) -- Wisconsin Rapids Water Works & Lighting Commission said crews are repairing a water main break near the 2000 block of 8th Street South.
According to a Facebook post, traffic will be shifted to the south bound lanes. Customers in that area may be without water Friday during the repair.
Server at Oviedo restaurant accused of stealing hundreds by forging customers' tips
SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A server at a Seminole County restaurant is facing theft charges after officials said she would scribble out customers' initial tips to write in her own amount.
An investigation into the behavior of 31-year-old Chelsea Reed began when management at the Town House Restaurant received a complaint by a customer that they had been over-charged on a bill.
Management conducted an investigation and found that Reed had been the same server involved in transactions in which checks had been over-charged by a dollar or more, according to Oviedo police.

DECATUR, Ala. - The two-year-long wait for a cheeseburger is over for people in Decatur. On Friday, the long-time eatery CF Penn Hamburgers reopened in a new location after a storm closed the old restaurant in 2018.

Before Friday, nobody had eaten a Penn's hamburger in nearly two years. A storm in April 2018 severely damaged the former Gridiron building on Moulton Street. The building in which Penn's was doing business had to be demolished. All customers had for over a year were rumors and a promise that Penn's would return.
