Census Bureau spends millions on ad campaign to mitigate fears on excluded citizenship question |

The Census Bureau is spending millions of dollars on an ad campaign seeking to assure members of the Latino community that their information will not be shared with local or federal authorities.

The ads, which are a part of the bureau's $500 million campaign, are focused on mitigating fears regarding a lack of confidentiality, following the push for the now-excluded citizenship question from the 2020 census.

The entire advertising campaign with 1,000 ads will continue over the next five months, including $50 million targeting Latino populations, $40 million focused on African Americans and $20 million on Asian Americans, according to Culture ONE World, a Washington-based ad agency, Politico reported .

Balenciaga's Ad Campaign Is a Terrifyingly Stressful Dystopian Newscast

Between global warming , precarious international politics , and the stress of impending presidential elections , there's a lot to worry about in this current moment, a feeling that Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia appears to tapping into with his latest advertising campaign for the high fashion campaign.

Balenciaga dropped a series of images featuring models as politicians running for office and a very stressful video of a dystopian evening newscast where water is disappearing, the planets are realigning, and all of the newscasters and subjects speak monotone gibberish over an ominous soundtrack, while dressed in head-to-toe Balenciaga.

$10M Anti-Trump Campaign Ad To Launch This Week In PA: Report | Abington, PA Patch

PENNSYLVANIA — A liberal super PAC is launching a major ad campaign in Pennsylvania and two other swing states as election season intensifies, a new report published Tuesday indicates.

The campaign will launch in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin on Wednesday, and in Michigan on March 10, according to Politico . It's being run by American Bridge 21st Century, an organization that works to elect Democratic candidates.

President Trump narrowly won all three of those states over Hillary Clinton in 2016. Those combined 46 electoral votes were crucial in determining the outcome of the election, and pundits have frequently pointed to the President's ability to connect with working people in those states as a key reason that he won.
