The truck struck another vehicle on Bronson Avenue at Gladstone Avenue but didn’t stop. Soon after, police said, the driver lost control and hit first a light standard and then a storefront on Somerset Street West.
Sandusky storefront gets facelift | Sanilac County News
Dr. Steven Sheridan, a Sandusky podiatrist, has renovated a historic downtown building to house his expanded practice. The 108-year-old two-story brick building located at 22 South Elk St. had to be gutted and then modernized. The improvements took over one year to complete. Sheridan, a resident of Sandusky, has been practicing in the area since 1996. He and his wife Heather have three children.

The Department of Children and Families ( DCF ) is announcing the closing of “all storefronts and lobbies” as government agencies and private businesses continue to limit public interaction during the coronavirus pandemic.
The closures were described as “temporary,” though the agency has not publicly set a target date to reopen.
Those looking to apply for benefits with the agency — such as food assistance (SNAP), cash assistance (TANF) or Medicaid — can do so online at the DCF’s website . Those seeking to call the agency can find the relevant numbers listed at that DCF web page.
