WHITEHOUSE, Ohio (WTVG) - Ohio Governor Mike DeWine gave restaurants and bars the green light to reopen for outside dining this weekend. Local spots are happy to welcome back customers and look forward to dine-in eating resuming this week.
Tony Fronk, owner of The Whitehouse Inn, says it took a few days for his workers to get used to carry-out business, and the community a bit longer to hop on board. But after about two months, this weekend customers showed up to support local in a big way.

Nail salon is taking extra steps to keep customers safe
FORT WAYNE Ind. (WPTA21) - It's been almost a week since personal services, like hair and nail salons, reopened by appointment only under Indiana's plan to reopen the state. Several businesses are working to ensure a safe experience for their customers, which for many, caused some changes.
At Cali Spa, they are taking extra precautions to keep their customers safe while getting their nails done or any of their other services.

To help keep the business afloat, they have turned to strengthening their online store. They hope more customers will come to the store now that other businesses have reopened.
"We're kind of a mom and pop shop too, even though we have a lot of exposure nationwide, it's still a small organization, and yeah, we've been hit, and we're still struggling to get over this," Whiteside said.
For safety measures, Black Dog Salvage sourced from their own store and put up Sneeze Guards in front of the sales counter.
Local buffets take measures to keep customers safe amid pandemic
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Under Governor Laura Kelly's Phase 1 of reopening the state, restaurants were able to re-open. With that comes concern about buffets, since more people could come into contact with your food.

NYSEG: Some customers may not have power until Sunday after severe storms
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WBNG) -- NYSEG is working to restore power in the area after the severe thunderstorms on Friday.
NYSEG says that while they are working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible, there are some customers in Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Greene, Herkimer, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Otsego, Schoharie and Ulster counties that may not have their power back until early Sunday morning.
The company says that crews will continue to work through the night until every customer's power is restored.
