3M sues Amazon storefront that allegedly sold fake N95 masks for $23 apiece - The Verge

The 3M corporation has filed suit against a third-party Amazon seller called KMJ Trading Inc, which allegedly sold more than $350,000 worth of N95 respirator masks, as first reported by The Wall Street Journal . The products were listed for as much as $23 per mask — a huge markup from the list price of $1.27.

Amazon has struggled with counterfeit mask sales since the beginning of the novel coronavirus outbreak, when N95 masks became an urgent necessity for essential workers. Amazon warned Marketplace sellers against price gouging as early as February , ultimately restricting sales of both face masks and hand sanitizer on March 11th. KMJ's alleged price-gouging took place before those restrictions went into effect, beginning on February 24th.

Quite a lot has been going on:

Perrine Man Press Opening Storefront In Downtown Twin Falls

You have probably seen the work of Perrine Man Press around the area. If you have seen the hats, shirts, sweaters and more with the bearded man with sunglasses, that is their handy work. At first you could only purchase online, that is about to change.

Perrine Man Press has also made appearances at farmers markets and places like Vintage Vixens, but now they are going to have their own store front in Downtown Twin Falls. According to them, they are hoping to have the store open in the middle of July but no official date has been announced just yet. We are hoping sooner rather than later.

"We’ve been able to cut over 80 percent of our overhead," explained Kyle Steppe, who owns KC Hemp Co. alongside his wife, Heather.

The company closed its space at 8124 Floyd St. at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March and quickly saw a 600 percent increase in online sales, as Stay at Home orders began, Kyle Steppe noted.

Espresso 77 owner creates vibrant artwork after boarding up Jackson Heights storefront - amNewYork

If you pass by Espresso 77, a cafe and wine bar that doubles as a gallery for local artists, you can't help but stop and admire their colorful display, proclaiming "Jackson Heights Strong."

The vibrant artwork was created by Afzal Hossain, the owner of the popular cafe located at 35-57 77th St., after they were forced to board up their original glass window display with plywood. On the night of Tuesday, May 26, Hossain said two individuals tried to break into the cafe by smashing the windows with a brick.

New @properties storefront coming; BHHS brings industry vet back into the fold - Chicago Agent

Chicago-based real estate firm @properties announced this week that it would be opening a new location on Lincoln Avenue, just north of Irving Park Road. The new spot, referred to by the company as the Lakeview/North Center office, will be managed by designated managing broker Amy Harris, who most recently worked out of the firm's Lakeview office on Greenview and Lincoln avenues.

Thad Wong, co-founder of @properties, noted that the most recent expansion is in line with what the company learned from its posture during the last recession. "While almost every brokerage firm was downsizing during the last downturn, we made a commitment to grow. It was a complete game changer for @properties because it attracted more agents and clients and ultimately put us in the best position once the market rebounded. Our strategy is similar today," said Wong in a press release.
