Downtown PKB starts shopping incentive program | News, Sports, Jobs - News and Sentinel

PARKERSBURG — Folks spending money in downtown Parkersburg now have a chance to make a little money at the same time.

Downtown PKB this week introduced #ShopPKB, a campaign through which people can earn a $25 gift card if they spend at least $150 over three purchases at participating businesses in a quarter. Shoppers are asked to mail copies of their receipts from restaurants, hotels, retail shops and other participating businesses to the Downtown PKB office. The first 25 received will get a VISA gift card.

Porter is the owner of Stillwater Books in Pawtucket, which just celebrated its two-year anniversary. He said package delays are causing him frustration and affecting his reliability with his customers.

Alibaba's shares, which trade on the NYSE, have fallen 5.6% so far this year, while its Nasdaq-listed competitors JD.com and Pinduoduo have seen their stocks soar 44% and 62%, respectively. Although Alibaba's latest earnings came in ahead of expectations, analysts say that its growth is showing signs of plateauing amid stepped-up competition. Against this backdrop, the company is aiming to use 6.18 to bolster revenues, and show that it can expand at a faster rate.

Chocolate World to open for shopping, take-out Friday | ABC27

HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — Hershey’s Chocolate World is reopening Friday, June 5 for shopping and take-out treats.

The entry passes are free and available at tickets.hersheys.com . There are various time slots offered each day, and guests will be allowed two hours in the building.

Hershey says to make sure you're ready to show your digital timed entry pass when you pull up to the parking booths and plan to arrive on property 15 to 30 minutes ahead of your entry time.

The seller is an affiliate of Armada Hoffler Properties Inc. of Virginia Beach, Va. The affiliate paid $12.5 million for the property in January 2016.

Harper Hill is at 4962 Harper Hill Drive, near the intersection of Peace Haven and Country Club roads.

The property is listed as three tracts consisting of a 9.5-acre site at 150 Vinegar Hill Lane, a 0.54-acre site at 101 Vinegar Hill Lane and a 0.76-acre lane at 121 S. Peace Haven Road.

Walmart senior shopping hour extended

Walmart, the nation's largest retailer, says it is extending its senior shopping hour indefinitely.

It was a move many grocery stores and essential retailers started back in March to help older adults and people with underlying health conditions shop right after stores had been sanitized.

A small group gathered at the Tulsa Hills shopping center near 71st Street and Highway 75 Tuesday night.
