A few feet inside the space, the wall was severed in half, with a layer of metal showing. Silver tubing was hanging down from the ceiling, which had several tiles missing.

MENDON – An unidentified driver apparently escaped injury after driving through the storefront of the Grand View sales office and showroom on Uxbridge Street (Rte. 16).

“We are happy to report there are no injuries sustained by the driver or anyone in the business,” Mendon police posted on their Facebook page just after 3 p.m. Tuesday about the crash, which left the office in shards of glass.

Popular Turlock caterer Big Vic's BBQ is trying its hand at dine-in retail after opening the establishment's first brick-and-mortar location over the weekend.

Owners Victor and Jill Rivas first started Big Vic's BBQ in 2012 and has since offered an array of homestyle meats, sandwiches, sides and desserts at everything from small gatherings to large events. Armed with a background in food safety and a passion for cooking, Victor was inspired to start his own catering company after he and his wife found a lack of local options when planning their wedding in 2011.

San Francisco Suspends Vacant Storefront Tax Until 2022

San Francisco's vacant storefronts tax will be on hold through the end of 2021, as businesses grapple with the pandemic.

The Board of Supervisors voted 11-0 Tuesday to defer enforcement of Proposition D , which imposed a $250 per street-facing square foot tax on spaces vacant for more than 182 days in a calendar year. Prop. D, which was supposed to go into effect next year, passed in March with about 70% of voters' approval.

Neiman Marcus Hosts Community Art Project On Storefront - SFGate

Community members, artists and Neiman Marcus employees gathered outside the luxury retailer in Walnut Creek on Tuesday with buckets of paint and brushes to make a statement for peace and equality, using the boarded storefront as their canvas.

Neiman Marcus was among the stores in the Broadway Plaza shopping center damaged by looters on May 31 during protests. In the spirit of "leading with love," the retailer invited the public to decorate the boards and send a positive message to the world, said John Collins, vice president and general manager of Neiman Marcus Walnut Creek.

Bozeman Business Boom: From trailer to storefront, Genuine Ice Cream grows in post COIVD economy

BOZEMAN- Despite COVID-19 having a massive impact on the market and local business Genuine Ice Cream and Co. a trailer on Main Street is expanding and booming.

“We’ve had the trailer in downtown Bozeman for five summers now,” Ellie Southworth the Manager of Genuine Ice Cream Co. said.

It’s a sign of summer when Genuine opens its window in downtown Bozeman. On average ever Americans consume six gallons of ice cream.
