eBay raises Q2 outlook amid surge in marketplace sales | ZDNet
In April, eBay projected Q2 earnings between 73 cents and 80 cents per share with revenue in the range of $2.38 billion and $2.48 billion. eBay now expects Q2 EPS between $1.02 and $1.06 with revenue in the range of $2.75 billion to $2.80 billion.
For its GMV outlook, eBay said it expects growth rates to land between 23% and 26% as compared to the prior year period. Shares of eBay were up over 7% in early trading.
eBay also said that it's increasing its investments in marketing and technology in an effort to retain new buyers and increase purchase frequency.

From November through December 2019, Price Rite Marketplace stores throughout Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island collect donations at checkout for food banks across the eight states its stores serve to support the fight against hunger.

Andre M. Perry : Oh, man. The best job market in U.S. history for Blacks meant that Blacks — the unemployment rates were twice that of the white rate. Homeownership has plummeted to levels that were recorded before the Fair Housing Act was implemented in the 1960s. Going back to normal would be disastrous for Black Americans. Saving vs. spending during a recession - Marketplace
About 1.9 million people filed unemployment claims last week, according to data released Thursday by the Department of Labor. This marks the first time in nine weeks that the number has been under 2 million workers.
In total, nearly 43 million Americans have filed unemployment claims and consumer spending has fallen 13% as the country enters a recession caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
