Alabama Power ad campaign chosen as finalist for industry award - Alabama NewsCenter

A recent Alabama Power advertising campaign has been chosen as a finalist for an industry award. The public is able vote to show support for one of the campaign's television spots.

The E-Source Utility Ad Awards Contest has chosen the company's recent environmental campaign as a finalist in the 2020 contest. Additionally, the television spot "We Love Trees" has been chosen as one of five ads to compete for the Crowd-Pleaser award. The public can show its support by visiting the E-Source Facebook page and liking Alabama Power's ad.

UK government to crack down on obesity with £10M ad campaign – POLITICO

U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson is set to announce on Monday a £10 million campaign to cut obesity amid growing evidence people who are overweight or obese are at greater risk from the coronavirus, the Guardian reported Saturday .

The campaign, called Better Health, is reported to include advertisements on social media, TV and radio, billboards and print media. In addition, manufactures will be obliged to add labels to bottles and cans of wine, beer and other alcohol products to inform consumers how many calories are in them.
