IDAHO FALLS – After three years of business, the Garcia’s Street Taco truck is now open in a brick-and-mortar location.
Owner Letty Garcia tells EastIdahoNews.com the business moved from a small truck at 165 Science Center Drive to a nearly 1,600-square-foot building in the space formerly occupied by Chef Shane’s Perspective at 3192 S. 25th E. in Idaho Falls.

Originalitees is a locally owned and operated clothing line that specializes in state, city and neighborhood pride apparel. With quality, comfort, affordability and style at front of mind, owner Khisha Asubuhi sells only products that she would wear herself, including funky Ohio socks and Cincinnati streets tanks .

In June, one of Berkeley's more idiosyncratic bookstores, University Press Books, closed its doors permanently due to the financial pressures associated with the coronavirus pandemic. For Bay Area food enthusiasts, however, the store's shuttering represented more than just the loss of hard-to-find academic titles: It also meant that Cafe Ohlone , the world's only restaurant dedicated to the cuisine of Northern California's indigenous Ohlone people, had lost its home.
For about a little less than two years, Cafe Ohlone had set up shop on the bookstore's sunny back patio, hosting weekly tastings and more elaborate dinners a couple of times a month. Dishes were made exclusively with pre-colonial ingredients, often hand-gathered by co-founders Vincent Medina and Louis Trevino: cold, creamy acorn soup; venison meatballs; and extravagantly colorful salads dressed with walnut oil and blackberry sauce.

At the new store, fans of the retailer may recognize the window display featured to the left of the door as well. The mind-boggling arrangement of casted Nike Air Force 1’s colored in the Kith palette echoes the Kith’s Jordan motif in its previous store. The retailer described the choice of a divergent footwear style as its way of “shifting to a new silhouette for a new continent.”
